the year of 2012 now holds a handful of unforgettable memories.

some were heart breaking & some were inspiring.

either way, i wouldn't change a thing.

i have chosen to accept & embrace the highs & lows.

here are a few memories i'll always cherish.

bear lake trips

& spending most of these moments with this kid

nik was called to serve

in the russia, moscow mission!

guys!  i did it.  i ran a marathon.
check that off the bucket list.  woot woot!

i had an awful time of 05:17:24 (that's a 12:06 mile pace), but i still did it.
for now, that will suffice.

next year, i'll do better since i'll be in the st. george marathon.

my sister had a fantastic marathon (this was her second) & finished at 03:49:17 (an 08:45 mile).

she finished in 3rd place for her female age range!

congrats to her.

i'd be lying if i didn't say i wanted to beat her time next year.

though i doubt i actually will, i'll still train for it.

training is key.

this marathon taught me that big time.
