fit for you

i've been trying to lose weight this year, but more importantly,
i've been trying to live & adapt to a fit & healthy lifestyle.
i envy "health & exercise nuts".

throughout my endeavor i've been exercising 5 days per week,
eating <1,300 calories a day.
including:
20grams of fiber,
69grams of protein,
10grams of monounsaturated fats
>32ounces of water
100% calcium & vitamin-d intake.
(this diet was chosen after a compilation of health suggestions on the www).
i ran a 10k at a 10 minute mile pace &
i ran a half marathon at an 11 minute mile pace.
despite these efforts, i have only lost 7lbs.
any advice for me?

yesterday, i signed up for a triathlon.
july 9th
i will be running a 5k, biking 12 miles, & swimming 12 laps in the school's lap pool.
i'm excited to do this.
after hearing about my friend's brother's girlfriend & her triathlon experience, i've been looking for one i could try out.  hopefully it goes well.
